Breastplate Dark Drake

The Dark Drake Breastplate is a finely sculpted piece of armour that protects the front of the torso, chest and abdomen. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this galvanized steel piece has been decorated to mimic reptilian scales. The plate rests at the hips and has a V-shaped flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. The armour is made from rolled mild steel treated with an Epic Dark Metal coat, which gives the armour a rugged, antique finish.

The Dark Drake Breastplate is designed to match the Dark Drake Armour, but is fully usable with other metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your characters costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Care Instructions- Keep away from water. Clean with a metal polish and re-oil occasionally to properly maintain the armour. Use Leather care products for the fittings.

Medium - Chest: 25 Inches (When paired with a backplate it is adjustable for 40 inch to 46 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 24 Inches.

Large - Chest: 29 Inches (When paired with a backplate it is adjustable for 46 inch to 53 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 25 Inches.
